How to do incredibly detailed real wood inlays...
I start by gluing wood veneers onto two pieces of 1/4" hardboard. I laser engrave the image into the walnut burl, and I invert the same image and engrave the maple part. I add a little water to some pva glue and gently brush it on both pieces. Mate the pieces and put them into the press. After it's dried I run it through the belt sander to remove the hardboard on the maple side.

Any idea how to build a LED strip that turns on when the door opens?
There are plenty of motion sensors on amazon that offer that. But I am looking for a solution that uses magnets to detect when the door opens.
